Oh How I Love My City…
I went on a sunrise photo shoot this past Sunday morning, yes me, Dana Pulver, who detests early mornings. Â But I did it for the love of my art. Â Us group of photographers started out on Belle Isle, watched the sunrise there, took some photos and then headed over to Hart Plaza and the River Walk on the Detroit River. Â The City was awfully quiet this Sunday morning. Â Could have been us Detroiters and Michiganders were mourning the Detroit Lions’ loss from the night before. Â But we are still proud of what our team accomplished this season. Â We ended our morning at this FANTASTICAL (my word) breakfast/brunch place on Woodward Avenue called The Hudson Cafe – can you say Red Velvet Pancakes – OH MY! Â It was a great morning all around but I would still consider myself more of a sunset girl
Here are some photos from my morning….

I’ve known Evan since he was about two years old and when my friend asked me to do his Senior photos I said absolutely with no hesitation. This football Captain, his mom and I headed out one very chilly fall morning and I am thrilled with the outcome. Ev, I still think you practiced in the mirror before this shoot but if not, you are definitely a natural!
